February 6th – Characters: Brainstorming & Development
Led by Jay, this workshop is entirely focused on creating interesting characters from scratch. Focus will be on brainstorming techniques, initial character sketches and developing these concepts further.
February 13th – 3DS: Render to Texture
Led by Jean-Claude, this workshop will be focused around using 3DS Max and the render to texture functions in order to create impressive visuals that work visually and technically.
February 20th – Unity: Creating a basic game world.
Led by Michael, this workshop will be focused around using Unity to build a terrain you can move around as well as applying textures and physics to make it more believable.
February 27th – HTML5 Canvas
Led by Michael, this workshop will be focused around using the canvas and learning how to get visible results with the use of code and visuals.
