Notebooks for Students Scheme (NfSS)

Getech and Toshiba are seeking to encourage student ownership of computers, particularly portable computers that will offer students flexibility so you will be able to work when and where you like.

Toshiba and Getech have developed the Notebooks for Students Scheme (NfSS) and are working with a number of Universities to offer you a high value notebook package, which has been carefully planned and prepared to meet the basic needs of most students.

About the Student Notebook Scheme

• Great prices on a wide range of high-specification Toshiba notebooks.
• Delivery to home address or collection at the University.
• Low-cost options (software, warranty extension, etc.) available.
• Arranged under the UCISA National Higher Education Laptop Agreement.
• International warranty and enhanced UK service arrangements.

The notebooks for the new academic year will be included on the scheme web pages from August, giving full specifications and the special scheme pricing.

Recommended models will include DVD/CDRW drives, network and modem connectivity and an option for wireless networking.

A full range of upgrade options will also be available, at special prices, to go with your new notebook.
